By plane to the Costa da Morte<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the territory of the Costa da Morte there are no airports, but there are two relatively close by, such as Alvedro and Lavacolla.
\nIf you are travelling from Spain, you will most likely land at Alvedro airport (22 kilometres from La Coru\u00f1a), while if you are travelling from abroad you will mostly arrive at Lavacolla airport (10 kilometres from Santiago de Compostela).
\nIn both cases there are good connections to the nearest city via special bus lines or taxi ranks nearby. <\/p>\n

The two airports are less than 100 kilometres from any point on the Costa da Morte, a journey that can be covered by car in just over an hour and for which there are public means of transport such as buses.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

As with air travel, the Costa da Morte lacks train stations, but there are two less than 100 kilometres away, such as the capital of the province in La Coru\u00f1a and the capital of the Autonomous Community in Santiago de Compostela, both interconnected with each other.<\/p>\n

Both can be reached from various points on the peninsula such as Madrid, Barcelona or Porto through a total of four lines that run through the Autonomous Community of Galicia.
\nFrom them there are regular public transport lines to the Costa da Morte such as the bus. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

By car or caravan to the Costa da Morte<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

If you come by car there are two points from which you can proceed.
\nOne is from another autonomous community of the Spanish state and the other is from the north of Portugal.
\nIn both cases there are good road networks to reach the Costa da Morte. <\/p>\n

If you come from a point in Spain you will be able to access the autonomous community of Galicia through roads such as the A-6 or the A-8 from the north, while if you come from the south you will do so through the AG-53.
\nIn the case of the A-6 and A-8, these will connect with the AG-55 that will take you to the Costa da Morte.
\nFor the AG-53 you must connect with the AP-53 that passes through Santiago de Compostela and in turn connects with the AC-546 to reach the Costa da Morte. <\/p>\n

If you come from Portugal, you must take the AP-9 in the direction of Santiago de Compostela and once there continue along the AC-546 that will take you directly to the Costa da Morte.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

One of the most important means of transport to get to the Costa da Morte is the bus.
\nWithin the territory there are two stations located in Carballo and Cee, although there are stops where you can start or end your journey in practically all the towns of the Costa da Morte. <\/p>\n

If you want to get to the Costa da Morte by bus, it is usually because you have arrived by plane or train in Galicia and you need a means of transport that will take you from A Coru\u00f1a or Santiago.
\nIn both cities there is a bus station where you can buy a ticket for regular trips that connect these cities with the Costa da Morte.
\nThe journey takes less than 2 hours and the price does not exceed 15 euros. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The seaports of the Costa da Morte are mainly dedicated to fishing, although there are also spaces for recreational boats such as piers.
\nIf you arrive at the Costa da Morte on your boat you can request their services whose rates will depend on the length of your transport.
\nThere are also spaces where you can anchor within the estuaries under the shelter of the wind and waves. <\/p>\n

On the other hand, there are also cruise ships with a destination near the Costa da Morte, specifically in the port of A Coru\u00f1a.

To get to the Costa da Morte by walking along the Camino de Santiago, you must first complete the traditional route to Santiago de Compostela. From there, you will continue your pilgrimage to Finisterre, a route that is part of the extensions of the Camino. The journey from Santiago to Finisterre is approximately 90 kilometres long and is usually divided into four stages. As you go, you’ll pass through picturesque villages such as Negreira, Olveiroa, and Cee, enjoying landscapes that combine mountains, forests, and ocean views. <\/p>\n

Upon arrival in Finisterre, you will have reached one of the most emblematic points of the Costa da Morte, known as the “end of the world” in ancient times. Then you must continue towards Mux\u00eda.This final stretch will take you along coastal routes that offer spectacular views of the Atlantic and the rugged beauty of the Costa da Morte.
