Dating back to the <strong>16th century<\/strong>, it remains closely tied to the community\u2019s maritime and religious heritage, anchoring the main square with a calm, enduring presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Architecturally, it follows a straightforward plan: a <strong>single nave<\/strong> and a <strong>rectangular apse<\/strong> that contains the presbytery and the sacristy around the main altar. The walls are built in <strong>stone rubble masonry<\/strong>, and the standout feature on the exterior is the <strong>Plateresque doorway<\/strong> on the northern side, which serves as the main entrance and gives the building much of its identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A particularly distinctive detail is the <strong>main door tympanum<\/strong>, featuring a <strong>wooden relief<\/strong> depicting the <strong>Annunciation<\/strong>, the <strong>Immaculate Conception<\/strong>, and the <strong>Virgin and Child<\/strong>. Outside, the silhouette is completed by a <strong>square-section bell tower<\/strong> and a <strong>bell gable (espadana)<\/strong>.
