Rough <strong>rubble-stone walls<\/strong> embrace the building, while the <strong>main fa\u00e7ade in irregular ashlar<\/strong> reveals the handiwork of local stonemasons. This is a <strong>Modern Age (16th\u201318th century)<\/strong> church that keeps the spirit of Galician popular religious architecture alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The layout features a <strong>single nave<\/strong> with <strong>lateral chapels<\/strong> attached on both sides and a small <strong>side porch<\/strong> sheltering a secondary entrance. The roofline blends traditional solutions: <strong>gable roof<\/strong> over the nave and <strong>three- and four-slope roofs<\/strong> over the chapels, all finished with <strong>curved local tiles<\/strong>, giving the silhouette a restrained, timeless elegance above the Bu\u00f1o landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the <strong>fa\u00e7ade<\/strong>, the main doorway is crowned by a <strong>Baroque niche<\/strong> holding a simple <strong>sculpture of St Stephen topped with a scallop shell<\/strong>.
