Declared a local holiday, the event gathers hundreds of people who bring offerings such as the <strong>live rooster auction<\/strong>, and enjoy a full day of outdoor festivities with family and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saint Adri\u00e1n is worshipped as a <strong>healer of skin ailments and wounds<\/strong>, for both people and animals. Devotees traditionally offered <strong>wax body part ex-votos, potatoes, or roosters<\/strong> depending on the illness. Some participants still follow the ritual of walking on their knees around the church and the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The parish church, rebuilt in <strong>1772<\/strong> in a classical Baroque style, retains its <strong>12th-century Romanesque apse<\/strong>.
