Malpica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Route: Linear<\/li>\n<li>Start\/finish point: As Neves Chapel or Santo Ant\u00f3n-Praia As Torradas<\/li>\n<li>Length: 12 km (one way)<\/li>\n<li>Approximate duration (round trip): 6 hours<\/li>\n<li>Difficulty: Medium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For hiking enthusiasts and visitors to A Costa da Morte, Malpica is the starting point of the first stage of the popular Cami\u00f1o dos Faros.<br \/>\nBut the stretch of coast that connects Malpica with Razo, in Carballo, is also worth it and is what has been baptized as the route of Los pinos del mar. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To the right of the port is the mountain of A Plancha.<br \/>\nAlmost at its summit is the chapel of As Neves or Santo Ant\u00f3n, the starting point of the route of Los Pinos del Mar, a path conditioned mainly for bicycles and well known among fans for its characteristics and beauty. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The trail runs for about 12 kilometres along the west coast of Malpica to the beach of As Torradas passing through the picturesque Mu\u00ed\u00f1os de A Ribeira, which are located right on the edge of the sea (in the parish of Ardeleiro).<br \/>\nA place of great beauty where we find five perfectly rehabilitated water mills and where its proximity to the sea is striking. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Very close to the mills you will see a stone cross that recalls the tragic shipwreck of the Malpican purse seine ship &#8220;Os Tonechos&#8221; in 1991, in which its 9 crew members died, several of whom belonged to the same family.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From that point you will pass through the villages of Loroxo and O Ce\u00e1n to return to the seashore at San Miro beach.<br \/>\nOn this beach we must pay attention to the capricious shapes of the coastal pines deformed due to continuous exposure to the wind.<br \/>\nWe continue along the sea to the beaches of As Torradas and Pradeira, the end point within the limits of the municipality of Malpica.    <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can continue the route to Santa Mari\u00f1a (already in the town hall of Carballo), near the beautiful beach of Razo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The bike ride is slightly longer as the way back to Malpica is made inland, through the place of Cambre, where we can stop to contemplate the church of Leixoada Loutono.<br \/>\nNear this place we find the place of Bu\u00f1o, which is a must-see, either during the completion of this route or on the day of visit to Malpica.<br \/>\nOne of the most important examples of crafts in Galicia has reached the 21st century renewed, being able to learn its secrets in the Forno da Fonte ecomuseum.<br \/>\nIn this museum we will be able to understand much better the life of the potters and the techniques they use in the elaboration of their pieces.<br \/>\nVisitors go back in time to learn about the way of life of a pottery family in 1950.    <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i class=\"fa fa-blind\"><\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikiloc.com\/rutas-senderismo\/ruta-dos-pinos-no-mar-malpica-61434336\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">  Access to the route in our wikiloc profile<\/a><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/es.wikiloc.com\/wikiloc\/spatialArtifacts.do?event=view&amp;id=61434336&amp;measures=on&amp;title=off&amp;near=off&amp;images=off&amp;maptype=H\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Route: Linear Start\/finish point: As Neves Chapel or Santo Ant\u00f3n-Praia As Torradas Length: 12 km (one way) Approximate duration (round trip): 6 hours Difficulty: Medium For hiking enthusiasts and visitors to A Costa da Morte, Malpica is the starting point of the first stage of the popular Cami\u00f1o dos Faros.
