{"id":63143,"date":"2024-08-27T08:40:22","date_gmt":"2024-08-27T06:40:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/great-goldberg.213-199-36-195.plesk.page\/post\/sendeiroazullitoraldecamarinasrc-2"},"modified":"2024-09-17T19:45:37","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T17:45:37","slug":"sendeiroazullitoraldecamarinasrc-2","status":"publish","type":"contenido","link":"https:\/\/visitacostadamorte.com\/en\/post\/sendeiroazullitoraldecamarinasrc-2","title":{"rendered":"Camari\u00f1as Coastal Blue Trail (RC-2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Route: linear<\/li>\n<li>Start\/finish point: Camelle (Camari\u00f1as)-Castillo del Soberano (Camari\u00f1as)<\/li>\n<li>Length: 22 km.<\/li>\n<li>Approximate duration (round trip): 5 hours<\/li>\n<li>Difficulty: Medium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The route starts in Camelle, at the Museum of Man and Garden of Man.<br \/>\nIt is the name of the Museum of Manfred Gn\u00e4dinger, better known as &#8220;Man&#8221;, an artist whose work is considered by many to be the greatest exponent of Land-Art.<br \/>\nAfter visiting the museum, we start the route to Arou, a town with a beautiful beach and port.<br \/>\nWe start the road again to another place, Puerto de Santa Mari\u00f1a where we will discover traditional fishing gear.<br \/>\nAfter visiting the port, we continue the route leaving behind us the Monte Blanco dune, unique in Europe for its rampant character of 204 meters high (the highest in Europe).<br \/>\nWe arrive at the beach of Trece, a virgin beach with the largest colony of carami\u00f1as in Galicia.       <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We must make an obligatory stop on the way to see the panoramic views of Thirteen and Monte Blanco.<br \/>\nFrom here we reach an emblematic and famous point of this route, the Cemetery of the English.<br \/>\nThe sailors who died in the shipwreck of the English ship The Serpent in 1890 are buried there.<br \/>\nThis cemetery is included in the European Union&#8217;s Cultural Route of Unique Cemeteries.     <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Along this path we will also enjoy archaeological remains such as the stop at the m\u00e1moa de Reira and other natural sculptures such as the Stone of the Bear.<br \/>\nWe will also leave on the way the den of the wolves, a construction whose purpose was to hunt these animals. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We recommend deviating from the main road for 1 kilometre to reach Cabo Vil\u00e1n and the mythical Vil\u00e1n Lighthouse, inaugurated in 1896, and the first electric lighthouse in Europe.<br \/>\nIn addition, it is home to the A Costa da Morte Shipwreck and Maritime Signals Interpretation Centre.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Very close to Cabo Vil\u00e1n, we find the so-called &#8220;Vil\u00e1n de Fora and Furna dos Infernos&#8221;.<br \/>\nVil\u00e1n de Fora is an islet declared a Special Protection Area for Birds, as it is home to protected species that are in danger of extinction in Europe such as the tridactyla gull (rissa tridactyla) and the common guillemot (uria aalge) from Spain.
