33º FIOT in Carballo

From 26 September to 31 October 2024, the 33rd edition of the International Autumn Theatre Festival (FIOT) will be held in Carballo under the slogan "Agora é Sempre" (Now is Forever).
Leading playwrights and directors will participate in this edition of FIOT in Carballo. Five weeks of theatre in street and non-conventional spaces in the municipality of Carballo (A Coruña), with a programme open to all audiences, formats and sensibilities.
There will be 36 shows from 3 countries and 7 autonomous communities, with 8 world premieres, 1 premiere in Spain, 6 premieres in Galicia and more than thirty parallel activities.
The FIOT is broken down into numerous lines of programming, such as OTNI (Unidentified Theatrical Object), with alternative and unclassifiable shows; Rúa dos Contos, XXV edition of the pioneering cycle of oral narration in Galicia; or FIOTEEN, which brings together specific proposals for teenagers, among other proposals.
